Welcome to the NGor Surf camp in Dakar - Senegal. A paradise on a tiny Island surrounded by a few world class waves. Close to the capital center of Dakar, the camp offers you to stay in a nice and clean place. We are waiting for you to come and enjoy our endless summer type of life.

The House is very peaceful and located only 50 meters from the beach and one minute walk from the mythical spot of "Ngor right" as seen in the first "The Endless Summer" movie. The house and the rooms are located on the biggest property of the Island and owned by the US/Senegalese rapper "AKON".

Sea view from the table where breakfast and dinner are served. All the camp staff will always do their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Your bedroom is cleaned by a maid every day and we have a laundry service available.

The camp does not have main electricity but we do have a solar/wind turbine system with full lighting, fans, plug sockets in each room for charging mobile phones etc., wireless internet, solar heated water and showers providing all comfort needed.  We collect plastic for recycling and we have our own compost at the camp.

Accommodation

The single and double rooms are located around the main house in quiet surroundings, they all have private bathroom and their own little porch. The main house has a dormitory and two family rooms.

Surf & Other Activities

NGor Island has a unique positions as we have one of the world largest swell windows. The camp are surrounded by 19 different types of breaks all from gentle beach breaks to heavy and fast point breaks.  The main surf break NGor right is located just 1 minute walk from the camp as well as NGor left and Philippes. If the conditions are good they start surfing early morning at sunrise, while you eat breakfast you will get reports from the different breaks and then from there they split into groups according to level, so every one gets the most out of the surf.
