SUMMARY

Australia’s original Surf Camp that started in 1999. Supported by Rip Curl. Offering progressive surf courses that teach paddling, standing up, riding across waves, surfing etiquette and beach safety. Lessons are small group sizes with friendly and experienced local instructors. All surfing equipment is provided. Other inclusions are quality beachside accommodation and delicious meals for the surfer’s appetite.

Overview

Surf Camp Australia operates on Seven Mile Beach which is Australia’s best “learn to surf” beach. It consistently delivers ideal surf conditions for beginner surfers. This location combined with our expert instruction and high quality surfing equipment provide the ultimate surf experience. After a full day of surfing you can relax and enjoy our high standard of meals and beachside accommodation.

We have been introducing beginner surfers to the sport of surfing for more than a decade. Through this experience we have refined our learn to surf programme to offer the best beginner courses available anywhere. Our multi-day beginner courses are for everyone. We teach paddling, standing up, dropping into waves and riding across them. You can expect to stand up and ride your first wave in the first hour.

Our surf courses are delivered by our surf guides and instructors. They are all friendly, experienced surfers who will patiently show you the basics and encourage you to learn to surf. All of our guides and instructors are qualified lifeguards for your safety.

Accommodation

After a full day of surfing, you can relax in comfort in our modern beachside cabins. Our accommodation is clean and comfortable and just a short walk to the beach. Each cabin is a 4 or 6 share room with plenty of space for storing your luggage. All bedding & fresh linen is provided so you don’t need to bring sheets, pillow cases or sleeping bags. There is also a permanently shaded, outdoor-dining-and-entertainment area located in the centre of the cabins. This area is equipped with a large screen TV and stereo where there is always music or a surfing movie playing. Surrounded by palm trees and hammocks, it’s a great place to hang out and relax between surfing lessons and at meal time. Other accommodation facilities include hot showers, a swimming pool, internet access, a laundry & the cafe.

Upgrades to a private/double room are available.
